Bleach Pics

You love Bleach, right? Then I guess you came to the right place.

I do not own Bleach. But if I did all the manga would be in color and Ichigo would never be uke.

Bleach Chapter 487 - ★★★★★★★★★☆ (9/10)

Thoughts:
Another great chapter, the quality of pacing and artwork was superb and everything is just going in a direction that is reminiscent of Soul Society for me.
First let me say one thing, that I’ve noticed the Bleach fandom saying for the past few weeks, and I just felt like calling them out on it because it’s just stupid. Just because you’re favourite character, or some other character you like, has not appeared yet does not in any way diminish the quality of this chapter, or the chapters of this arc that have not included them. I’ve seen soooo many Rukia and Grimmjow fans specifically saying that the chapters have been lackluster because those two are not yet present. And personally, this irks me. Just because they have not appeared does not mean that (1) Kubo has forgotten them (2) They aren’t important any more or (3) They will not appear eventually. People blaming Kubo for not including a certain character are pretty immature; we are getting a plethora of characters shown that we haven’t seen in years, and not all of them are going to be re-introduced at the same time, others will come before them whether you like it or not. I guess what I’m trying to say is, saying Kubo, or Bleach as a whole, and this arc are ‘trollish’ or is ‘boring’ is just ridiculous in every sense, because a certain character has not appeared.
Now, back to the chapter which was pretty fabulous. I loved seeing Harribel’s fraccion return (Sun-Sun, Apache, and Mila-Rose) and their new looks have me wondering and hoping that they’ve upgraded in power and will have new abilities to display against the Vandereich and the Iacto Arme. Menoly and Loly also returned, and even though they are not the most likeable characters, it was nice to see them have their little shining moment, and confirmation of their existence.
I loved the colour pages, and I’m excited to see Urahara with them all. Maybe Nel will join in on the fight as well (if she can control her form changes?) if need be. The moments of comedy were nice, and I for some reason adored what Orihime was wearing - but then again, Kubo is a fashionista at heart.
Overall, another great chapter, wonderful pacing and nice descriptions of the Iacto Arme and their methods, which seem to have been inspired partly by WWII, but with Kubo twisting things here and there to fit the setting of Hueco Mundo. As I said, this feels like Soul Society-quality material right here. This is clearly going to be a mini-arc or a sub-plot within this major final arc, and there will be bound to be many more (I can already imagine another war arc lasting over a year, in the later future). I have little to fault with the story at the moment, because it’s Bleach at it’s best right now!
